Gallery of Gryphons

Here, you can find and browse the gallery of gryphons that have been adopted in the past, as well as look through the list of mutations and types of gryphons, along with their rarity. This list isn't final, and more may be added in the future.

Types of Gryphons

Common Gryphon (Common)  This is your basic gryphon, which stands about 7 inches tall.

Pigmy Gryphon (Uncommon)  Like the Common Gryphon, but much smaller.  The Pigmy usually stands about half the height of a Common Gryphon, sometimes a little smaller (depending on my yarn), and usually features any of the types of mutations that are available for the Common Gryphon as well.

Hippogryph (Rare) Hippogryphs are a type of gryphon that combine the traits of a gryphon and a horse...think "Buckbeak" from the Harry Potter stories.  Hippogryphs are about the same size as a Common Gryphon and typically feature a horse mane and tail, horse ears, and hooves on the hind legs.  They can also feature a number of the same mutations as the Common and Pigmy Gryphons, but also have special mutations that are exclusive just for the Hippogryph.

Sea Gryphon (Super Rare) Sea Gryphons are the most rare of all the Gryphon species.  They're slightly shorter than the Common Gryphon, but this is because it features the front half of a gryphon, and the bottom half of a fish; they're sometimes called "mermaid gryphons", since they don't have hind legs.  And because they have a fish tail half, they can be up to 13 inches long.  They, too, will have some mutations that are the same as the Common and Pigmy, but will also have special mutations that are exclusive just for their own species.
